A careful note on scope
Not every ISO publication is a certifiable management-system standard. Some are guidance standards, technical specifications or sectoral frameworks. Where a private certification route is offered, the site should describe the basis of review clearly and avoid overstating the nature of the standard.
How Verity presents this
- Certifiable management-system standards are described as certification routes.
- Guidance-based standards are described as alignment review or maturity review where that is the more accurate route.
- Scope, status and verification remain central regardless of standard.
