Send your requirement and we will help you understand the right route.
Paste the wording, tell us the deadline and briefly describe your organisation. Verity will review the requirement and explain the most suitable next step in plain English.
You do not need to be fully prepared before making contact. If you are unsure which standard applies, what evidence is needed, or whether private non-UKAS certification is suitable, simply send what you have.
The earlier the wording is checked, the easier the route usually becomes.
Avoid choosing the wrong route
ISO wording can be confusing. A short early review can help identify whether the request is mainly about certification, equivalent evidence, a management-system description or a specialist review.
Prepare better evidence
Good evidence can often be gathered from documents the organisation already has: policies, process notes, job records, training evidence, complaints, supplier checks and management reviews.
Reduce deadline pressure
If a customer or tender deadline is close, sending the requirement early gives Verity a better chance to identify a practical and proportionate next step.
You can contact Verity for more than a certificate request.
The form can be used for early questions, urgent requirement checks, certification enquiries, evidence pack discussions, verification matters and general management-system review questions.
- Customer approval: when a client asks for ISO evidence or quality arrangements.
- Tender wording: when a procurement document says “ISO 9001 or equivalent”.
- Internal improvement: when the business wants better structure, records and review discipline.
- Private certification: when a defined certificate scope and verification route would be helpful.
- Evidence pack: when a certificate alone is unlikely to explain the system well enough.
- Verification: when a certificate number, scope or current status needs checking.
Best first message structure
A strong first message can be short. The most useful format is:
“We are a [type of business] with [number] staff and [number] sites. We need [standard] for [customer / tender / supplier approval / internal improvement]. The deadline is [date]. The wording says: [paste clause].”
This gives enough context to understand urgency, scope and suitability without creating unnecessary form friction.
Helpful answers before you send the form.
Can I enquire if I am not sure which ISO standard applies?
Yes. Choose “Not sure” in the form and describe the customer request or business objective. Verity can help identify whether ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, ISO/IEC 27001, ISO 22301 or another review route is more relevant.
Do I need to have all documents ready first?
No. Many organisations start with a requirement check or gap review. Existing documents can be gathered later once the route and scope are clearer.
Is the message box required?
No. The message box is optional. However, pasting the exact wording usually makes the first response more useful and reduces follow-up questions.
Can Verity help with private ISO certification quickly?
Sometimes. Timing depends on the standard, scope, evidence readiness, number of sites and findings. Urgent enquiries should include the deadline and any exact wording.
Will Verity tell me if the route is unsuitable?
Verity aims to explain the route clearly and honestly. The purpose of the first review is to identify a proportionate next step, not to push an unsuitable certificate.
Can I email instead of using the form?
Yes. Email info@veritystandards.co.uk or call 020 3422 7346.
Ready to check your requirement?
Send the wording, standard, deadline and a short description of your organisation. Verity will help you understand the most suitable next step for private certification, evidence support or management-system review.
